Pond Season soon....Order IN Today 4/5

Finally got in the New Calico Koi Sanke Swordtails in after about 2 months of trying. They are really nice looking fish. Yeah I know I'm a cichlid guy but I like a lot of other fishes also.

We will be getting in Omega One Koi sticks in two sizes. + Frozen krill, Whole shrimp & Freeze dried foods. Now IN stock

As I was saying......

As I was predicting a while back when the government wanted to take on the credit card industry in which they needed to do because IMO it is crooked industry.
Like I said they would do is now done. Starting Next Month they (Visa, Master card, Discover) are raising our rates to except plastic money! As I said they will find a loop hole or a way to get our money one way or another! So be prepared for everything you buy or services performed to go up in price. I do not think prices will go way up too fast but they will have to go up sooner or later to cover the increase in rates & fees we as a business are charged.
Just thinking about it as I was writing this, what the gas stations or some business that run on very tight margins etc.. will do? Guess what? Gas to fuel your vehicle maybe up a couple cents more because of the credit industry.
I think they have to much control of our lives!

a Rant & word....

Okay I'm the middle guy sort of with some things like products. I can not control when the wholesaler/manufacture is out of stock or behind filling orders. All I can do is give my sales rep a hard time like some customers want to do to me on occasions. For aquariums (larger) it is hard for us to stock these in our little mom & pop shop so we have to rely on our supplier. That's why we offer really good deals that you will have a hard time finding anywhere else. I do not make a ton of money on these aquariums so I do not need to hear that the box store has a stack of tanks laying around that you can get anytime? That's fine because the main thing is us filling you up on the best fish in town along with great valuable personal service.
Other business maybe experiencing this due to the fact that many manufactures have reduce their output because the slow economy in the last year or so. So now busy season is here & they were not ready for the big increases in orders. So now they are playing catch up with demand.

I'm sorry if your order has taking a bit longer to get in, but it will come. I was advised AG brand tanks etc will arrive next Thursday to us. Perfecto brand should be filled this week.

Late arrival.
Live Plants, Tiger Barbs, Spotted silver dollars & that's it.
Was suppose to get Clown loaches, yoyos, & much more but shipper is not sending them. Orders not being filled.
Possibly because imports have increased because of heavy loses in Florida fish farms from the cold spell, so demand has increased so then the supply have decreased?

Updates 3/10

20 boxes of some nice cichlids coming in tomorrow. So Friday be there early for first pick of stock.

We have lot of really nice exotic plecos in stock + the german blue Rams & a ton of angels in many sizes & colors are super nice!

Sorry to say but as of tonight many tank pre orders are on Back Order!!! UGH. But there is nothing I can do about it but wait like everyone else. So next Thursday hopefully all tanks, stands etc.. all come in.

Help Wanted in Mentor...

Unfortunately Jason that runs the Mentor shop will be leaving April 2ND.

Need someone with knowledge in the aquarium hobby & knowledge about cichlids a plus.
Must be people friendly, clean & groomed in appearance, have attention to detail, & be on time.

Hours of work. Maybe split depending on applicants hired?
Monday - Thursday 12:45-7pm/close.
Friday 10:45am - 7m/close
Saturday 10am-5/close
